ACHIEVEMENTS : a) Trained in electoral reporting, environmental reporting, youth leadership and youth
and women empowerment reporting e.g., 50-50 campaign
b) Worked with National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) as a facilitator in training
monitors on how to monitor the 2014 tripartite elections, has taken part in Voter and
Civic education to would be voters and also writing news stories for publication in the
various media on the activities under taken by NICE pertaining to elections.
c) Participation in leadership and Skills Building Training by NFYD and has worked as
a Chairperson for Mzuzu Young Women Can Do It Club, forming and monitoring
Youth groups in various schools and communities in Mzuzu aimed at campaigning
for the empowerment of young women and girls in addressing various challenges
facing their day to day lives e.g. health, human rights, education and climate change
for them to take part in mitigation activities then writing monthly reports and updates
on these activities.
