Course Name Physical Fitness

Course Description This course is designed to expose the students in many fitness activities. Through this variety of fitness skills, one will be more
knowledgeable as to process of continued fitness throughout one’s lifetime. The course is also intended to introduce the
students to the method of procedure in teaching fitness, and general wellness principles. Students will complete as assessment
measuring aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility.

Course Outcomes 1. Evaluate physical activity level using fitness assessment.


2. Evaluate and implement various fitness techniques to promote progression.
3. Illustrate the basic characteristics needed when learning to function with diverse group.
4. Interpret and analyze the heart rate measures at rest ad during exercise.
5. Engage appropriate fitness programs to obtain personal goals.
