One’s personality is shaped by ones experiences, interests, and available

opportunities for nurturing them. From being a topper in school in my X standard to

becoming an all-India topper in one of the subjects in my XII standard to participation in
various Olympiads, I have always strived to achieve the best results in anything I may have
taken up. While pursuing my graduation in Business Administration from DAVV, further
skills.

Post my graduation, I got an offer to join a major FMCG company as a

<designation>. It was a great opportunity to experience the concepts I had studied
in college and to hone my skills. However, it also came with a realization that the
opportunities for growth and innovations are limited as an engineer vis-a-vis an
MBA. An MBA also comes with greater challenges at work and rewards to match
them.

Being involved in activities besides academics, such as college fests, helps one gain active
exposure to the art of management. I have had an opportunity to organize the annual fest
for my college. As a member of the core organizing team for the fest, which saw
participation by more than 15 colleges in Indore city, I have had an opportunity to grasp the
basics of management such as planning, responsibility delegation and team monitoring. I
have organized and coordinated numerous events in my career which helped me
understand the nuances of ideation and execution. I also have a knack for creativity
which has been conspicuous in my extra-curricular activities. I look forward to
building a career in Sales & Marketing as it provides a right blend of commerce,
creativity and execution.

The prerequisites of excellence at any task are a sharp intellect, dedicated and
planned action and also a level of comfort with the subject. My background
provides me with all three, at least at a very basic level. It is my belief that a degree in
management from NMIMS, one of the best Management brands in the country, would help
me gain competitive advantage by helping me understand the best practices in management
and developing an analytical thought process towards any problem at hand.
