Understanding the Self

Looking at ourselves in the mirror, we can see different aspects

we can reflect on. We can observe physical appearance, body language, self
reflection, self acceptance, confidence and self esteem, physical grooming and
self expression. In understanding are self we can focus on our self refection,
take a moment to reflect on our thoughts, emotions, and inner state. It's a
chance to check in with ourselves and explore our feelings, attitudes, and
self-perception.

Seeing myself in the mirror, I can see an different person. A

different person from what I expect and from what others see. Looking at
my reflection in the mirrors, I can see a one of the very strong persons I’ve
ever met. She is maybe looking so brave but also a soft person. She is
kind, appreciative, caring, friendly and outgoing. She has traits and attitude
that you can’t see in just one look in the mirror. She is very emotional but
has a very strong mental state. She is smart, talented and skillful. She is a
jack of all trades that to other people see it as a disadvantage but she
sees it as a blessing and skill for her. She has knowledge at almost
everything but not really good at something in specific. She can do
something that even she can’t expect her to do so. She is not that
expressive and showy. There are many challenges that has come to her life
that she has surpassed. She has a lot of achievements that others don’t see
and I’m very proud of her doing her best in everything and have this
achievements. Upon this she is still learning, she still has a dream and she
is still exploring, wondering what she can do in this world. She may not be
the best person you can meet but she is doing her best for herself. And
she is me.

Remember that while the mirror provides a reflection of our physical

appearance, it doesn't define our worth or entirety as a person. It's essential
to approach self-reflection with kindness, self-compassion, and a focus on all
aspects of your being beyond external appearance.
