Thank for giving us such a great chance. Let me start from my name. My name is Aung Myint Myat. My
home town is Kyaukpadaung located in Mandalay district. Talking about my studying, I am a fifth year
student attending my bachelor degree in electrical engineering at technological university in Meiktila. At
first my mission is to find out scholarship for my master degree and come back to serve as a good
engineering for my motherland. As you know, there is no significant advancement between normal and
master degree if we make the decision to study in our country universities. But now, my plan has
changed after dictatorship had occurred in my country. And I don’t think our education will not come
easily standard and close to international status whether our democracy is back or not. Nevertheless, I
want our democracy and freedom back for our generation to become real educated person in the
future. Knowing English well increases my opportunities of getting a good job in a high position or
especially in finding a scholarship. So IELTS score is the prerequisite for applying scholarship.

As I mentioned before, I live in the little town where there are no IELTS classes. And todays IELTS classes
cost over the range that I can’t afford. But I study, read and listen some IELTS courses by myself while
staying at home. Though I have much free time at these moment, it seems to me that studying alone
doesn’t make any significant progress. So I need some guideline from the mentor and I hope you’ll give
me such a good chance and I’m sure I’ll try my best. Thanks sincerely.
