JOB DESCRIPTION-HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

Kenafric Industries Limited is looking for a proactive individual who is a team player to join
our team in the position of Human Resource Officer.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION


The main purpose of this role is to provide support in the various human resource functions
such as resourcing, organization development, performance management, employee relations
and learning & development in line with the HR strategy, policies, and procedures.

The incumbent will be required to support and implement HR initiatives & systems and
develop talents through managing procedures and policy development while ensuring
compliance with all HR regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support in designing and implementing leadership, management development and


talent management strategies to ensure effective succession planning.
2. Identifying talent gaps (individually and organizationally) that are obstacles to
superior results and guide leaders on the development of gap closure plans.
3. Manage employee-employer relationship through enforcing discipline and
managing any issues that may lead to disputes in the organization.
4. Building solid relationships with company leadership, HR team and employees
5. Assess, plan, develop, and deliver learning and development initiatives.
6. Carry out end to end resourcing process for junior and middle level positions.
7. Resolving employee relations issues and using each opportunity to understand the
true root cause and develop a plan to come up with preventive actions.
8. File all records in the company that entails employees, compliance and operations
and ensure easy traceability.
9. Leave management; Post and manage employee leaves.
10. Continuously advancing the company’s talent position through partnering,
analyzing and strategic planning
11. Benchmarking and implementing best practices in manufacturing & respective areas
of work.
12. Carry out end to end resourcing process for junior and middle level positions.
13. Implementing, customer & Service Excellence and Change initiatives to achieve
desired business plans and culture through the Human Resource department.

Academic Qualifications
Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant field.

Professional Qualifications
 Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
 Certified Human Resource Practitioner (Or proof of enrollment)
 Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
 A valid IHRM practicing certificate.

Relevant Experience
 Minimum 3 years’ experience in busy HR department
 Experience in organization development specifically in developing and implementing
competences framework is highly desirable.
 Hands-on experience in HR key areas such as recruitment, skill assessment,
remuneration and benefits, performance management, etc. will be an added advantage.
