•A procedure text is a text that presents the


steps of an activity or the variousstages of doing
or producing something.
• The purpose of procedure text is to make it
easier for readers to know how to do something
Structure of procedure text

Goal:
Goal is procedural text structure that explains the
purpose or objective.
2. Material:
Materials is a procedural text structure that
explains the tools and materials needed.
3. Steps:
The next procedural text structure is steps, which
contain the steps or instructions for making
doing something.
Generic structure of procedure text

There are some generic structure of procedure


text:
- goal/aim
- material/equipment
- steps/methods

Language features
1. using simple present
2. using action verb
3. using imperative sentences
4. using the time sequence
The ingredients:
• Sugar
• Sliced cheese
• Wheat flour that has been added with
water
• spring roll skin
• Oil
•Sweetened condensed milk
Materials:

• Stove
• Fraying pan
• Spatula
• Knife
Steps:

1. Cut the cheese into lengthwise and thin pieces


2. Mix flour and water (to glue spring roll skins after rolling)
3. Prepare a piece of spring roll skin, reserve the cheese pieces, and
then sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Then roll up, and cover with
wheat glue. Do it to completion.
4. Heat oil over heat, fry until golden yellow skin
5. Remove and serve
