Letter of Motivation

Dear Saarland University,

My name is Abdullah Noman and I am strongly motivated to express my interest in

pursuing the Bachelor's program in Computer Science at your esteemed institution. I
have completed my A-Levels and IELTS exam required for this application, and in
addition to this, I have also completed Harvard’s CS50 program.
In this increasingly interconnected world, the internet provides easy access to a
multitude of resources making technology more accessible. One of the most exciting
facets of Computer Science is its power to improve and accelerate every other field,
Using AI and automation Computer Scientists have improved the lives of many
humans. I am excited and eager to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to
better human society through this degree program at Saarland University.
The world is witnessing an unprecedented surge of AI, with transformative
applications emerging every day, and Computer Science is in the middle of it using
AI, machine learning and Automation to develop mind-boggling technology, Likes of
Large learning models (LLM) and generative AI are a few examples. As a passionate
learner of AI, I would love to gain knowledge and bring all of my ideas to existence, I
believe that Saarland University is the best place for the fulfillment of my dreams.
The research projects at Saarland’s Institute particularly caught my attention and I
would be thrilled to be part of the research projects like AIDAM Group (Artificial
Intelligence aided Design and Manufacturing) and HCI (Human-Computer
Interaction Lab). I would love to study under the esteemed Professor Dr. Vera
Demberg and be a part of her research on Multimodal Language Processing.

I am convinced that this program is the right stepping stone for my professional
ambition. I would assure you that I will give all my effort in learning and innovating in
this field.
