CHAIRPERSONS

SUBJECT : ATTENDANCE TO THE 2023 PANLUNGSOD NG PEDERASYON

ORIENTATION AND ELECTION NG MGA SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN

In line with the implementation of Section 21 of Republic Act (RA) No. 10742, otherwise known as the
“Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015”, as amended by RA No. 11768, DILG-COMELEC-NYC
Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2017-01 dated June 23, 2017, and DILG Memorandum Circular No.
2023-168 dated November 07, 2023, all newly proclaimed SK Chairpersons are hereby directed
to attend the Panlungsod na Pederasyon Orientation and Election ng mga Sangguniang
Kabataan on November 14, 2023, 8:00 AM onwards at Palacio de Maynila, MH del Pilar St.,
Malate, Manila.

Please be guided by the following:

a. Documents to bring on November 1. Original or Certified True Copy of the Certificate of

14, 2023 Election Proclamation issued by COMELEC,
2. Original or Certified True Copy of the Oath of Office as the
Elected SK Chairperson, and
3. Certificate of Completion/Attendance/Participation of
the SK Mandatory Training
(Note: Pending the issuance of the SKMT Certificate, DILG
Manila City Director shall issue a Certification with the
list/names of the SK Chairpersons who actually attended and
completed the SKMT.)

b. Payment of Registration Fee
Each SK Chairperson shall pay PhP1,700.00 for the administrative
expenses.
● Payment can either be in cash or through check.
● If payment through check, payee shall be named to Liga ng
mga Barangay - Manila Chapter.
● Pay on or before NOVEMBER 13, 2023 to the Liga ng
mga Barangay Manila, 4th floor, Manila City Hall.

c. Confirmation Sheet Please accomplish this sheet on or before NOVEMBER 13, 2023:

Please be informed that failure to attend the Panlungsod/Pambayang Pederasyon Orientation and
Election may be a ground for possible administrative charge for neglect of duty, as provided for under
RA 10742, as amended, and other applicable laws and issuances.
