1. Để yêu cầu người khác làm gì đó cho mình, chúng ta có thể sử dụng các cấu trúc sau:
Câu mênh lệnh: Please open the door.

Could / Would: Would you please send this letter for me?
Would you mind: Would you mind sending this letter for me?
2. Dùng các câu hoặc cấu trúc sau để chấp nhận hay từ chối lời yêu cầu của người khác. Cần chú ý là khi từ chối,
chúng ta nên đưa ra một lý do hợp lý.
Chấp nhận:
Sure. OK. No problem. What can I do for you? Here you are.
No, of course not. I’ll do it for you. (dùng để trả lời câu hỏi: Would you mind…?)
Từ chối:
I’m sorry, but… I’d like to, but… I’d really like to help you, but…

C. LỜI ĐỀ NGHỊ
1. Khi muốn giúp đỡ ai đó, chúng ta có thể đưa ra những lời đề nghị giúp đỡ với các cấu trúc sau:
Let me: Let me wash the dishes for you.
Can I: Can I help you?
Shall I: Shall I clean the car for you?
Would you like: Would you like me to clean the car for you?
2. Dùng các câu hoặc cấu trúc sau để chấp nhận hay từ chối lời đề nghị của người khác. Cần chú ý là khi từ chối lời
đề nghị của người khác, chúng ta nên đưa ra một lý do hợp lý.
Chấp nhận:

Từ chối:
