Resiliency

In present times, most parts of the world are in law and order. However, on February 24th 2022,
Russia launched an invasion to Ukraine. They also launched missiles and airstrikes across Ukraine
and near their capital where most of the civilian’s lives, Kyiv. Prior to that, Crimea was annexed and
Donetsk and Luhansk were taken control by the Russian military.

On the day 3 after the war declaration, missiles continued to hit Ukraine. Destroying lots of
Infrastructures and homes of the people of Ukraine. The violence from war has caused harms to
many civilians, forcing them out of their homeland, taking refuge in neighbouring countries. Poland,
one the countries that borders Ukraine shelters around two million Ukrainian refugees. Up until
now, the conflict between them is still ongoing. Ukraine president, Voldlomyr Zelenskyy has come up
on his own to encourage Ukrainian to fight the violence of the Russian military troops.

In this present moment, several acts that had been done by others countries to help Ukraine. The
United Nations demand a full withdrawal of Russian military units. Many countries imposed
sanctions, as a form of reaction in regards to their disapproval, which had greatly affected Russia
economy. With Over 1000 companies had withdrew themselves in response for Russia aggression
towards Ukraine.

Mr Zelensky vowed to take back all Ukrainian territory still occupied by


Russian forces - he said he did not know when this would happen, but that
"truth is on our side".
