Franz Schubert (1797–1828) was an Austrian romantic composer and although he died at the age of
31, he was a prolific composer, having written some 600 lieder and nine symphonies.
Aged 10, the young Schubert won a place in the Vienna Imperial Court chapel choir and quickly
gained a reputation as a budding composer with a set of facile string quartets.

Neo Classical Period


The Neoclassical period, also known as the Classical Revival, was an influential cultural
and artistic movement that spanned from the mid-18th to the early 19th century. This
period emerged as a reaction against the ornate and extravagant styles of the preceding
Baroque and Rococo periods.

1. Higantes festival
Higantes Festival is a secular celebration initiated by the Municipality of Angono to express
gratitude to its patron Saint Clement, in which the parade of giants is held on Sunday
before the town feast on November 23.

2. Giant Lantern Festival

The first lantern festival was held to honor President Manuel L. Quezon. At that time,
Quezon made Arayat his rest area and converted Mount Arayat into a tourist resort. As a
show of gratitude to Quezon, the people of San Fernando held a Christmas lantern contest
to honor the first family.

3. Moriones Festival
The people of Marinduque celebrate the Moriones Festival as a way of atonement
for their sins. The ceremony is a re-enactment of the biblical story of Saint Longinus
who was a Roman soldier who had one blind eye. It is known that Saint Longinus
struck Jesus on his side with his spear.

Primary Survey:
Airway: Check if the victim's airway is clear. If not, clear it by tilting the head back
and lifting the chin.
Breathing: Check for breathing. If the victim is not breathing, start CPR.
Circulation: Check for a pulse. If there is no pulse, start CPR.
Control Bleeding: Apply direct pressure to any visible wounds with a sterile
bandage or clean cloth.

Treat Shock: Keep the victim warm and comfortable. If necessary, raise the legs
slightly.

Provide Comfort: Reassure the victim and keep them calm. Offer emotional
support.

Use of First Aid Kit: Know how to use basic first aid supplies like bandages,
antiseptic wipes, and adhesive tape.
