The word MEDIA was derived from the latin
word medius, which means “middle”
Media- are commonly associated with
television, radio, newspaper, and the internet.
However, other platforms people use to
communicate such as phones, letters, books,
and others also represent media.
Media

-are vehicles that carry a message from one person


to another or to a group of large audience.
-defined as UNESCO, refers to sources of credible
and current information.
Information

-is a broad term that is derived from


study of experiences, or instructions.
-it can refers to any facts or details about
a subject that depict meanings to a
person.
