    Lesson Plan

    Teacher: Mokhtar Saidia Sanaa Class level: Beginner


    Text book: Total English Time: 2 hours
    Context: Nationalities
    Teaching aids: TV, audios, pictures…
    Terminal objectives: The student will be able to identify different nationalities and learn the possessive
    adjectives as well.

    Lesson stage Procedure Timing

    Warm up The teacher presents a picture of an item, and then she asks 15 mins
    the student to extract as many words related to what she’s
    seeing.

    Presentation and practice The teacher presents several pictures of popular countries 10mins
    just to preface the main course, and then she asked the
    student to guess those countries’ nationalities

    With the help of the teacher, the student will complete the 15 mins
    table.

    The teacher presents a YouTube video to practise the 10 mins


    language use.

    The teacher writes an example on the board with (I) and


    then start modeling and explaining the example with the 10mins
    rest of the pronouns.

    With the help of the teacher, the student will complete the 10mins
    box grammar.
    Give the student activity number 8 to work on it. 7mins

    Production The student watches a YouTube video and tries to guess 10mins
    the country and its nationality.
    The teacher and the student have a survey conversation 20mins
    using the possessive adjectives.
    And finally the teacher gives the student activity number 9 5 mins
    as homework.
