So, the question is, how does the historical context of Rizal's time resonate with me

personally? Are there any aspects of that era that I find particularly inspiring or
relevant to my own life? For me there is a historical context of Rizal’s time that
resonates me first is on how he fights for our country by writing “Noli Me Tangere
and “El Fili” it ignites a spark that fueled the desired for freedom among many
filipinos, even that Rizal is imprison he still know what is happening outside. His
works sparked a sense of national consciousness in us and motivated us to honor
our distinct cultural heritage, in addition to inspiring me. For the second question
is, yes there are some aspects that Rizal inspired me one of that is using non-
violent means of resistance Rizal persisted in using non-violent means of resistance
and resolution even in the face of persecution and eventual execution at the hands
of the Spanish government. Anyone looking to solve social or political inequalities
by advocacy, constructive action, and discourse might be inspired by his example.
Also, he fights what is right for Filipinos and social justice. For me the cultural
values that align me in Rizal’s era are family and community it involves supporting
one another and upholding shared traditions. Respect for elders and ancestor is also
one of the Filipino’s cultures this demonstrated a respect for life's lessons learned
and experience, as well as an appreciation for maintaining cultural traditions. The
value that would have influenced me if I lived that time is technology and
information accessibility, my access to information and technology in that time
would be vastly limited compared to now. Understanding historical struggles
impacts my role as an engaged citizen today because history gives us a viewpoint
for comprehending problems in the past. It equips us with the knowledge necessary
to examine and explain historical issues. Filipino culture or heritage from Rizal's
time that I feel a strong connection to is first in nationalism, to promote the idea of
independence and create a feeling of national identity, Rizal and other reformists
from the Philippines during his time were important. The Philippines is a sovereign
country with a rich cultural legacy and a strong feeling of nationalism today.
Education opportunities have significantly increased in the Philippines. Today,
there is a higher literacy rate and greater access to education at all levels compared
to Rizal's time. Religion there has been diverse of religions and beliefs. Political
system ever since the Philippines gained independence from colonial authority, it
has gone through several political and governmental transformations. Lastly, the
globalization Philippines is more interconnected with the global community today.
Parallels between the challenges people faced during Rizal's era and challenges
I’ve encountered in my own life Education and Empowerment in Rizal’s era
believed that education was a key to Filipino empowerment and liberation. As an
instrument for societal advancement, he promoted critical thinking and knowledge
accessibility. By giving people access to information and encouraging critical
thinking, I may be a useful teaching tool. This is consistent with Rizal's belief that
education may be a tool for empowerment. Historical contexts inspire me by
helping me understand the present, enhance communication skills and provide a
sense of identity and belonging.
