I. OFFENSES AGAINST PERSONS


a. Inflicting bodily slight bodily harm in the premises of the Academy except in

VII. ATTENDANCE POLICY
a. Leaving work area or work assignment during working hours for unauthorized
reasons; loafing, loitering or malingering

approval) are to be considered to be habitual).

immediate Supervisor/Department Head. Please note, obtain approval or

e. Absence from work without official leave (AWOL) for five (5) consecutive days
will be considered as abandonment of work. A proper documentation should
be submitted upon reporting to work otherwise employee will not be
accepted. For example, if sick a medical certificate should be submitted
together with a fit to work notice from the Doctor. Failure to comply should
undergo company’s due process.

f. Habitual tardiness- it is considered habitual if committed 3 times in a pay
period or 6 times a month based on payroll cut off period.

days.

Please observe the following process for attendance policy;


 All absences due to sickness or any other forms of absences needs legal
documentation to support employee’s absent. Failure to do so shall be dealt
accordingly.
 Should inform the management 2 hours before schedule time.
 For emergency cases, inform the management 2 hours before the scheduled
time, or as soon as emergency situation takes place. Please note that
emergency cases will depend on the situations.
 Leave application process should be 10 days before the planned leave (with
or without pay) to give the management time to adjust the schedule and
work assignment.

school.

b. Insubordination – is the act of willfully ignoring, disobeying, or refusing to


follow direction from someone who is in a higher position than you and who
has the authority to tell you what to do. It is type of misconduct that can
have far-reaching effects within an organization. It can damage the overall
functioning of the organization, undermine an authority figure’s credibility, or
damage morale and productivity. Insubordination is generally perceived to be
a serious offense, and is often grounds for disciplinary action, including
discharge from service or a letter of termination from the employer.

The following acts are considered as insubordination and shall be dealt with
in accordance to the gravity and consequences.

2. Refusal to perform tasks assigned by a superior
3. Deliberate and undue delay in the performance of task
4. Challenging superior to a fight
5. Unreasonably rising the tone of voice against a superior
6. Making faces against superior
7. Refusal to follow the Standard Operating Policy of the
company
8. Defiance or disregard of the authority of the superior
9. Refusal to cooperate with superiors
10. Consistent violation of Company Policies of the school
11. Refusal to be subjected to the security policies of the school
12. Refusal to acknowledge of sign receipt of memorandum from
superior
13. Any form of insubordination which affects the school’s
reputation
14. Sleeping on duty
15. Negligence of work
16. Browsing non-work related sites

4. Failure to observe cost-cutting measures to the detriment of
the interest of the school

6. Insufficient preparation of the day’s lessons
7. Failure to comply Company Dress Code Policy as posted on the
announcement board of the company premises or as made
known to the employee.
