EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Based on the Structural analysis using primary and combined loads provided by PT.
Berkah Andalan Rekayasa, it could be seen that combined (axial and bending) stress
occur to all beam structure are still within the allowable design stress specified by AISC
9th edition. This is indicated with stress ratio which is deviated less than 1.00.

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Objective
The main objective of this report is to ensure all the main structure have
sufficient strengths to carry various loading (dead load, live load, combination
load etc) which possible acting on the structure during the construction,
operation and maintenance of the plant.
Second objection of this analysis is to evaluate the slope of loading dock
structure based on international CODE and or government statutory and
regulatory in term of safety issue.
1.2. Scope
This report contains the Structural Analysis for Loading Dock and evaluation of
slope structure.

3. METHODOLOGY
Geometry of model, Loading and solution was provided with Staad Pro V8i.
Geometry of model was created in one group, beam and other structures depend
on real condition.

5. RESULTS SUMMARY
5.1. Deflection
The permissible maximum deflection must be less than L/200. Where L is span
between support. Refer to drawing 21VSI-001-LD, span for outer frame is 1000
mm. So with simple calculation L/200 = 1000/200 = 5 mm.
From table 7, the maximum deflection occur while 4 1.2D + 1.6L performed with
value 2.678 mm. This value is less than permissible maximum deflection. In
other word, all beam are adequate for the design load.

5.2. Support Reaction
All force and moment that applied to whole structure of Platform will be
distributed to all member. And the maximum value was transferred into base
support. In these case was transferred into list of node at following tables.

Beam failure design completely occur when stress ratio value is not exceed or
equal to 1.00. The following table is summary of stress ratio for all beam due to
axial and bending stress. From table 9 the maximum stress occurred is 0.942 on
member no. 75. The result indicated that all stress ratio deviated under 1.00
value, That is mean all member is adequate for the design loads and satisfy
the code check requirements.
