BUS STOP - DAY
The scorching sun beats down on the
bustling streets of Manila. JENNIE, a young
professional, stands in a long queue at a
bus stop. She taps her foot impatiently.
JENNIE(to herself) Come again? This line
is moving so slowly.
Beside her, RYAN, a chatty commuter,
overhears Jane's frustration.
RYAN (smiling) Don't worry, miss. We just
need to fall in line and wait our turn.
JENNIE(sighs) I've been waiting for ages.
When is the next bus arriving?
RYAN Next next week, maybe(laughs)
.But seriously, it's always like this. Just hang
in there for a while.
JENNIE(frustrated) Is it traffic today? It's
like everyone is going to the same bus.
RYAN (nods) Yep, it's always a gamble
during rush hour. Double deck buses are a
lifesaver, though. More seats!
They finally reach the front of the line. The
bus pulls up, and they board.
INT. BUS - DAY
JENNIEand RYAN find seats next to each
other. The bus lurches forward, navigating
through the chaotic traffic.
RYAN (points out the window) Look at that
massive traffic jam.
JENNIE(nods) Definitely. I hope I'll make it
to work on time.
RYAN (smirks) Well, comfort rooms are
nearby, in case nature calls. But watch out
for those nosebleed-inducing restroom
fees.
JENNIE(chuckles) Thanks for the tip. I'll
keep that in mind.
The bus ride becomes more bearable as the
conversation continues.
EXT. BUS STOP - DAY
The bus finally arrives at Jane's stop. She
stands up to get off.
JENNIE(stands up) This is my stop. I’ll go
ahead .
RYAN (smiles) Nice meeting you. Enjoy the
rest of your day.
JENNIE(gratefully) You too. Take care!
Jennie exits the bus and heads towards her
office building, reflecting on her chance
encounter with Ryan.
INT. OFFICE - DAY
In the office cafeteria during lunch break,
Jane excitedly shares her bus adventure
with her colleagues, including her friend
LISA.
LISA (laughs) Ah, the joys of commuting.
Did you at least sing your frustrations away
on the videoke?

JENNIE (grinning) I wish! But no, we were

too busy chatting. Maybe next time.

LISA (teasingly) Aww, you missed your

chance to be a videoke star. Well, there's
always another day.

They both laugh and continue their lunch,

enjoying the "eat-all-you-can" buffet.

EXT. CITY OVERPASS - DAY

Meanwhile, Ryan walks across a bustling

overpass, humming a tune. He spots a
TOMBOY (lesbian) being harassed by a
group of men. Ryan, being a good
Samaritan, rushes to help.

RYAN (determined) Hey, leave her alone!

She deserves respect!

The men, caught off guard, scatter. Ryan

extends a hand to the tomboy.

RYAN (supportive) Are you alright? Do you

need any help?

TOMBOY (thankful) Thank you. I appreciate

your intervention. My name is Maya.

RYAN (smiling) Nice to meet you, Maya. I'm

Ryan. Let me walk you to safety.

They walk off together, forming an

unexpected bond.
