VODAFONE SERVICE – AUDIO VISIT


TASK SUMMARY
• Visit a Vodafone store to make a Vodafone customer enquiry based on a specified scenario assigned
to you. You will be assessing what happens during the enquiry.

AUDIO MYSTERY SHOPPING GUIDANCE


• All Ipsos audio assignments need to be recorded using your audio recording equipment. Do not use
the device you may need to show to the adviser during service visits, as it could reveal your
identity as a mystery shopper or disrupt the recording.
• You can either use the voice recorder on your phone or use a specific app – you can use any app
that is suitable for your smartphone.
• Ensure that the recording is not limited in time e.g., will only record for 15 minutes and then cut off.
• There will be space on your online report where you can upload your audio file.
• Test your app before your visit.
• Recordings that are incomplete or of poor quality will be declined with non-payment.
• Start your audio recording at least 30 seconds before entering the location.
• Announce the date, time and your location e.g. “It is the 3rd of June 2022, the time is 10.25 and I am
visiting Vodafone, Northampton”
• Never include your name or personal details in your intro information before entering the location.
• We recommend listening to your recording while you fill in the survey to help with accurate answers
and to ensure there is nothing inappropriate or unintended included.
• If you are experiencing problems uploading your audio file, please contact the support team ASAP

! Any recordings that you upload as part of this assessment either against an individual
question or the full survey will be shared with the client as part of our reporting
requirements. Although your data is validated by our team (including these recordings), it is
your responsibility to ensure that any of your personally identifiable data visible or recorded
on the file is anonymised e.g., Name, Address, Email. You can do this by editing your audio
file before submitting within your survey.
