1. What makes a person Filipino? If a person has Filipino parents but born in another
country, is he/she still a Filipino? What about if a person with foreign parents is born
and raised in the Philippines, he/she Filipino? Explain your reasoning.
Being Filipino is often associated with cultural identity connection to the
Philippines and a sense of belonging if someone has a Filipino parents but born in
another country that may still be considered as Filipino by heritage and cultural ties.
On the other hand a person with foreign parents born and raise in the Philippines may
also identify as Filipino due to their up bringing and integration to the local culture.
2. Have you interacted with people who have a different culture from yours? How
was Your interaction with them? Was it productive? Was it respectful? What could
you had done for a better interaction?
Yes, the outcomes of interactions with people from different cultures and
productive, respectful interactions and its involves of open mindedness curiosity and
willingness to understand their perspective.
3. What is your attitude toward people who have a different culture from yours? Do
you celebrate how they are different from you? Do you look down on them?
I do not look down on them instead I respect their own culture and Ill try to
understand their perspective and our social differences.

1. Describe globalization to a peer.
Globalization refers to the inter connectedness and inter dependence of
nations economies, culture and societies on a global scale . It involves the exchange of
good ,services, information and ideas across boarders, facilitated by advancements
and technology, communication and transportation.
2. Explain to a peer what multi-cultural literacy is.
Multicultural literacy is the ability to understand, appreciate, and effectively
engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. It involves developing
awareness, knowledge and skills to navigate and communicate in a world that is
increasingly interconnected.
3. With a partner or triad, share answer to the following question: How can you teach
multicultural literacy in the classroom?
Fostering inclusion and awareness around multicultural education and taking a
culturally responsive approach to teaching benefits all students. Not only does
creating greater multicultural awareness and inclusion help students with different
backgrounds and needs succeed, but it encourages acceptance and helps prepare
students to thrive in an exponentially diverse world.
ECOLOGICAL LITERACY
What environmental issues and concerns move you and provoke you to action? What
efforts and practical steps do you influence others to take action? Global Warming
and Climate Change are the issues provoking me to take actions. The change will start
with me so I need to change my ways, re-calibrating my mind and redirecting my
steps steps. By Promoting the conservation of natural resources , tree plating and
proper waste segration we can make this world a greener, cleaner,safer and healthier
environment.

1. Develop a personal definition of sustainability.
Sustainability is the practice of meeting the needs of the present generation without
compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs.Its involve
finding a balance between environmental, social and economic factor to ensure long-
term wellbeing for both people and the planet.
Ultimately, sustainability is about recognizing the inter connectedness of all aspects of
life and striving for a harmonious and balance existence.
Green Building Practice: Constructing or retro fitting buildings to meet green building
standards,such as LEED certification. Which focuses on energy efficiency, water
conservation, and sustainable materials.
3. What personal greening initiatives would you propose to your own campus,
community, and home?
1. Financial literacy requires skills to aid in you in making responsible and ethical
financial decision. These skills include being able to set goals, create and keep current
a budget, formulate a spending plan, and keep organized records. Think about your
overall skills in those mentioned and mark where you feel your overall skills level is.

behavior brings numerous benefits. Paying bills and debt on time and making regular

How does your current budget pie chart compare with your ideal budget pie chart?
Its still trhe same but we should always put in our budget is our emergency fund for
us to use when we need it in a not expected manner.

Short-term It is typically involves Saving 5000 for an
achieving a specific emergency fund within the

short time frame, usually the unexpected expenses
within a year or two. such as car repairs or
medical bills.
Medium-term It is typically involves Saving 20,000 for a down
achieving a specific payment for a home within
objective within a time the next 3 year. This goal
frame of around 2 to 5 requires consistent saving
years. and budgeting over a few
years to reach the target
amount and its contribute
to a significant milestone
in personal finance such as
home ownership .
Long-term It is typically involves Saving a million for
achieving a specific retirement within the next
objective over a period of 30 years.This goal requires
more than 5 years.often consistent saving,
extending to decades. investing and potentially
adjusting financial plans
over the course of several
decades to ensure a
comfortable retirement.
Frugal
Refers to being economical or thrifty often characterize by avoiding
unnecessary expenses and being mindful of spending.
Pleasure
Refers to a feeling of enjoyment,satisfaction or happiness derive from an
experience, activity or situation.It is a positive emotional state that arises when
something brings joy contentment or fulfillment.
Status
Status generally refers to a persons social or professional standing often in
relationship to others.It can also a condition or state of something.
Indifference
Refers to a lack of interest,concern,or emotional involvement to a particular
situation, event or person.
Powerful
Typically describes something or someone that possesses great strength,
influence, or authority.
Self-worth
Refers to the value and respect that an individual holds for themselves.
