SCENARIO #01: WORLDS COLLIDE

REQUIRES

CORE SET TO PLAY

The Power Rangers have pursued the minions of the

Alliance of Evil to a parallel world with no Rangers of
its own. As the forces of evil launch an attack on this
world, the Rangers find new allies in GI Joe: America’s
daring, highly-trained special mission force.

The Rangers try to call on the power of their Zords to no avail. “This is terrible!” cries
Alpha 5. “Something is stopping your Zords from coming to you through the Morphin
Grid. But…if we use our new friends’ vehicles to generate grid power, you might be able
to summon your Zords—even the Megazord!”

SETUP
Each player chooses a Hero or Ranger to play. Your team must include at least 1 Hero from
Mission Critical and at least 1 Ranger from Heroes of the Grid.

Follow the normal Setup for Mission Critical. When creating the deployment deck, shuffle
1 Monster from Heroes of the Grid into pile B, 1 Lieutenant from Mission Critical in pile C,
and 1 Boss from Heroes of the Grid into pile D.
Note: For a harder game, replace the Lieutenant with a Nemesis from Mission Critical and/or the Monster
with a Nemesis from Heroes of the Grid.

Use 1 set of Foot Soldiers from Mission Critical and 1 set of Foot Soldiers from Heroes of the Grid.

Create the Zord stack as outlined in the Heroes of the Grid rules and place it near the power
board, just above the Vehicle stack. Draw 3 Zord cards and put them face-up, one above each
face-up Vehicle card.

PLAY
During this scenario, your team has access to 3 face-up Vehicles and
3 face-up Zords. Vehicles can be purchased as normal. Zords can
be purchased by removing 6 defeated enemies
from the power board (or with a Bonus Vehicle
token). Once purchased, Zords function the
same as they do in Heroes of the Grid.

When a Hero uses a Vehicle, you may place energy tokens
equal to the Vehicle’s cost on the Zord above the Vehicle’s
space. Then, if there are 6 or more energy tokens on the
Zord, discard the Zord and return it to the game box.

During Battle Cleanup, draw a new Zord and place it face-up

in each empty Zord spot.

When the Megazord is drawn

“Rangers! And, er, new friends!” Alpha reports frantically.
“The Megazord is nearly powered up! Keep up the good work!”

When the Megazord is drawn, place it in an empty Zord

spot but do not place energy tokens on it.

When a Hero uses the Vehicle in the spot below the

Megazord, you may place energy tokens equal to that
Vehicle’s cost on any face-up Zord.

When the Megazord is the only face-up Zord remaining,

you gain the Megazord.

GAME END
If the Heroes win
The combined strength of GI Joe and the Power Rangers has defeated the monsters serving
the Alliance of Evil and sent the forces of Cobra into retreat. The two teams vow to come to
each other’s aid in times of direst need, to fight evil in whatever guise it takes.

If the Heroes lose

With the power of their Zords limited, the Power Rangers lose the battle against the Alliance
of Evil. The heroes of GI Joe lead the Rangers in a fighting retreat so that they can regroup.
Unless they can devise a plan to strike back against the forces of evil, the future of this world
looks grim.
