1st Scene

INT. SCHOOL- GLADIOLA'S ROOM - DAY

The bell rang

An unadorned, good-humored male student, CALIX (18), entered the classroom while playing mobile
games.

Mr. Mendez: (discussing) Mr. Sebastian! (mad as a hornet) Calix: (looks at the teacher and stops playing)
Good morning sir, sorry I'm late.

Mr. Mendez: Again? Don't you know the time of our class? You are late again, and you have the courage
to enter my class while playing mobile games as if there is no teacher in front. You are exhausting my
patience with what you are doing. (gives Calix a bad look and suddenly formally looks at her students)
okay class, you may take your break.

Mr. Mendez: Mr. Sebastian, hurry up follow me to the office.

Mr Mendez and Calix walk to the office

2nd Scene

INT OFFICE - DAY

Mr. Mendez: Mr. Sebastian, you're getting on my nerves. To tell you the truth (sighs) I am not
considering you as my student I'm considering you a burden, You are a burden on me and to the whole
school. I'm fed up with you!

Calix: (bowing)

Mr Mendez: Don't you want to come to my class? Me? I'm a great teacher, I'm good at teaching. You're
the problem Calix, a nuisance. your brain is weak, you know nothing and You are always late to my class.

Calix: ( flashblack ) ----Flashback - in class the recitation, Calix raised his hand and answered, he was
insulted, as if his teacher was joking and philosophizing him, his classmates are laughing)

Calix: What's wrong with what I said? (surprised by their reactions and response, but he pretended he
laughed with them showing that everthing is alright despite the sadness and emotional pain.) A student
raised his hand, recited, the teacher praised the student for his answer, all students applauded.

Calix: What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? I am sure that my answer is better than his answer,
but why..

Mr. Mendez: Hey Calix! Why are you not talking? I've been talking for a while now, I'm just my wasting
saliva and my time on you. Why haven't you dropped from school yet? You're a worthless person.

Calix: (quiet, shedding tears)

Mr. Mendez: (noticing that tears seem to fall from Calix's eyes) And now Calix, you are trying to cry, do
not fool me. I know your jokes and trips. You can't win me with your crying gesture, with your nonsense
feelings and pranks.

Calix: (suddenly stood up while the teacher was speaking) Mr Mendez: Oh what's your plan?
Functionate your brain!

Calix: (sighs and leaves the office)

Mr. Mendez: (picks up the phone and dials a contact number)

Calix: (goes to CR, faces the mirror and slaps himself) I'm strong because I'm a man, pain is just my
prank, because I'm strong, I'm not crying. It was only a joke, okay?

3rd Scene

EXT HANG OUT PLACE - DAY

Gray: Hey, Calix! (holds phone because he's playing, raises one hand to wave at Calix)

Calix: Hey, what's up dude? (looks happily at his two friends)

Matt: Dude, what happened? another office trip again? HAHAHHAHA (focusing on playing a mobile
game while laughing)

Calix: Nevermind, It all doesn't matter. let sir do what he wants as long as we always enjoy ourselves ,
wait do we have a party to go to later?

Matt and Gray: You are definitely right dude

Gray: Yeah, we are born to be strong, just enjoy life

Matt: Right, we're always strong no matter what because we're…

Matt, Gray and Calix: brave as soldiers HAHAHAHA

Gray: wait, how's your game going Calix? glancing at Calix's phone)

Calix: Oh, look dude, look. (showing the phone to Gray and Matt) O did you see guys? (seemingly
boasting and happily showing his game) A piece of cake.

Gray: Woah, what a nice play dude! (compliments Calix)

Matt: It's really good (applause) as always dude you're the best

Calix: Yes, I am (flattered)

4th Scene

EXT TO INT CALIX'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Calix is already outside their house, Calix checks the time on his phone
 Ava: Stop Andrew, stop accusing me of something I did not do.

Andrew: That's not an accusation Ava, that's true. Admit that you have another man. Why can't you
be honest with me? Come on Ava, expose it.

**outside their house, he could hear his parents fighting

Calix: (Sigh) here I am in this hellish house.

Calix entered their house.

Ava: What's wrong with you? You are to blame because you spend your salary on your vices. (hand
pointing at Andrew) Ava and Andrew : (They see Calix)

Ava: Oh, Calix, Where have you been? It's already late at night. What are you doing in your life? Earlier
Mr. Mendez called me, he is complaining again. What do you want Calix? You are messing up our family.
Shame on you Calix! A useless son, you should not go home!

Andrew: That's true Calix, You bring shame to Sebastians

Ava: (Sighs) Liam, come here my dearly loved son! (calling Liam who's in the room)

Liam: Yes, mom?

Ava: Show your medals and awards here to your brother! Liam: (showing the medals and awards to
Calix and trying to make him envious) Best in.. Certificate of.. Where's yours? Oh, I'm sorry I forgot that
you don't have any of these

Calix: (remained silent)

Andrew: That's great Liam! No doubt you are indeed a Sebestian. That's why we love you so much, son.

Ava: It's really good that this son of mine is doing great in everything, I am so happy to have you Liam. I
wish your were never born Calix, you're making my life miserae. Take this, Liam, add this allowance to
your allowance, which should be your brother's. Use your mind and fix your life Calix.

Calix: (walking to his room) fix our family first.

Calix entered the room and tears started to fall

Calix: I'm worthless, why am I here in this world? (forcing to stop his tears from falling ) here i am again
feeling like i am not wanted. I feel like I'm worthless. And even though I am alive, I feel dead. (while
scrolling through social media and thought to post a story on messenger)

When his friends saw this, their reactions were all '😆' A friend of his replied to his my day, laughed at
him and didn't believe his feelings was true, Calix said it was true but his friend still didn't believe it and
said 'You are man and i know you are as strong as an ox' that's why Calix said it was just a prank.

5th Scene

The next day, at school.

Calix is walking

Gray: Calix is here dude! (laughing while talking to Matt) he's now acting like a gay, I'm tired of feeling
worthless hahahaha

Matt: Yes he is dude, tired of being worthless hahaha

Gray: Calix, are you tired of feeling worthless, you might be getting tired of being a man, right?
HAHAHAHA don't tell me, you are getting tired to be man? Are you weak dude?

Calix: Hey dude, that was just my prank hahahaha, another prank of mine. I've been pranked a lot I'm
absolutely the best hahahahaha (melancholy)

Calix, Gray & Matt: HAHAHHAHAHAHA (laughs)

6th Scene

Calix is going home ( Afternoon)

Outside their house, he could hear again his parents' quarrel.

Ava: Let's separate, I'm sick and tired of you. I'll take Liam. I'm fed up with Calix too.

Andrew: There you have it! I was definitely right from the start, you have another man.

Ava: Yes Andrew, I'm with another man. Are you happy now?

Calix entered the room holding back his tears

Calix received a message from his close friend and said that his girlfriend was just using him, his friend
also sent him the screenshot of his conversation with Calix's girlfriend, saying that right from the start,
he didn't love Calix. She also insulted Calix, ' Calix is feeble and worthless 'who is Calix for me to love? he
don't deserve me. Calix was very hurt because of what he found out, he could not accept it, he loved Zia
very much. Calix's mom and dad are still fighting. He didn't know what he was going to do, he couldn't
take it anymore, his heart felt like it was going to explode, he was giving up

*flashbacks of what Mr. Mendez was saying to him, along with the hurtful words and treatment of his
own family.

Calix: (crying) I can't take it anymore! why is my fate so cruel? I don't deserve life.

He found a rope and tied it to the upper part of his room while his unceasing tears fall from his eyes, he
remembered everything, the words he always heard. Those words and mistreatments consumed him.

Calix: This is where the prank of life ends.

Calix hanged himself.

7th Scene

At the Cemetery, Calix's family is crying. (Day)

Andrew: Ava, I found this in Calix's bag (receipts), what does this mean? He buys the groceries at home?
I thought it was you who bought those groceries. Wait, I don't understand.
Ava: It wasn't me, I thought you were.

Andrew: (Shakes his head and cries)

Liam: What doesn't all mean? My brother, Calix secretly sacrificing for us?
