You are on page 1of 1

Hello, today I decided to present you my oral on the pretty little thing company.

I will introduce you to the characterisation grid.

It is a very large for-profit company, its an SAS

Being a British national, his head office is located in Manchester but has an
international geographical field of action.
Its main activity is the manufacture and sale of ready-to-wear for women and is
therefore part of the tertiary sector.
It has more than 20,000 products, a website and an application.
The company has about 5,000 employees
Its turnover in 2020 was $400 million

I made the internal and external diagnosis of the company by highlighting its
strengths such as the fact that it has a wide range of products or that it has
collaborated with many public figures such as kourtney kardash in America and
sananas famous French Youtuber
Its main weakness is the environmental impact that on the production of its
products
The opportunity I found is the ads that can be found on all social networks, which
strongly attracts customers
Its main threat is the competition that has been increasingly strong, especially
with the missguided compan

The problem I decided to do is how does the company advocate diversity through its
products? I chose this issue under the theme "diversity and inclusion"

To begin with, I will introduce you to its site, which has several categories
including the "sy silhouette" category.
Pretty little thing ensures a range of products for every woman whether you are
small, tall, round, shape or even for expectant mothers. Pretty little thing
presents itself as the brand accessible to all morphologies. Plt is to have self-
confidence and feel good in your body.
She even launches the #everybodyinplt movements which is for the equality of
genres, morphologies, races and freedom to dress as you want, when you want.
The models selected by the brands are black, white, round, small, large, with
stretch marks ect pretty little thing it's THE brand accessible to all.

PLT's management style is advisory, Advisory management is based on the autonomy of

employees. Here the manager takes into account the opinions of his employees but
without losing his authority. I think it's a good way to act because it sets up the
good working atmosphere which is essential for the well-being of employees, also
that they feel listening encourages them to be more productive.

PrettyLittleThing has established itself as an emblematic of ready-to-wear by

saying "We want to be the best friend of these women" explains to
FashionNetwork.com its co-founder and CEO Umar Kamani, passing through Paris for
the launch of a showroom during Fashion Week."There are a lot of problems in the
world, and in the middle of it we are creating a fairy tale for women", explains
the leader, "for their comfort, their self-confidence, and to offer them
empowerment through fashion.
