Unit of Competency Provide housekeeping services to


guest

General Instruction:

As part of hotel services, the hotel may allow certain items to be lent to the
guests for their use while in the hotel. Nevertheless, anything that is issued
should be recorded and signed by the guest so that if ever the item is lost or
damage, the guest will be held accountable and the amount will be charge to his
account.

Specific Instruction:

Here is the procedure in the issuance of requested item


1. In the form, write the name of the guest, room number and the date
of issue.
2. Check the item.
3. Ask the guest to acknowledge and sign the form.
4. Copy of the acknowledgement receipt should be furnished to the
Front Office Cashier who attached it to the guest folio so that during
check out the cashier can first verify the said item has been
returned. In the case that the guest is not able to return it, he shall
remind him to return it, otherwise he will be charged for it.
5. Remind the guest the consequence if ever the item borrowed is
damage or lost.
6. Remind the guest to return the item as agreed and indicated in the
form.
7. Requested item should be promptly located and delivered within the
agreed time frames, if not, ask apology for the delayed service.
