As our Summer Residential course continues to grow, we will be running two residentials in the
summer of 2024, giving your child more opportunity to join us on our annual residential experience.

It’s all in. Drop the kids off with us and we’ll make sure they have an experience to remember. Each day
they’ll be taken through their paces with our enhanced Soccer School programmes and they’ll then
stay with us, sleeping in our residential accommodation and receiving 24/7 player welfare support.

ESSENTIAL
INFORMATION

We want to make sure players are making the most of the experience with their teammates,
so we encourage them to interact with another, without the distraction of mobile phones. The
players will have mobile phone access slots within the programme, so will be able to speak to
family and friends, with a daily timeslot to be communicated in advance of the programme
starting. We’ll also provide a daytime and evening phone line, where parents/guardians can
contact the staff managing or delivering the course, to pass on any messages or answer any
questions.

ACCOMMODATION
The dorm rooms can accommodate 1, 2, 3 or 4 players and you can request to share dorms with
friends, siblings or suggest preferences on room sizes when booking the course. Boys and girls
won’t be sharing dorms.

ATTENDEES
Our residential course caters to boys and girls of varying levels of footballing ability. In the month
leading up to the course, attendees will receive a ‘what to bring’ document detailing information
about what will be needed and an introduction to the course, including FAQs. Upon arrival, a
Player Pack, including an activity schedule and timetable of activities, will be given to players.

DROP OFF & PICK UP

Please arrive at Embley School, Embley Park, West Wellow, Romsey SO51 6ZA at 2:30pm on the
first day of the residential (Sunday 4th August and/or Sunday 11th August), so we can begin
the opening ceremony promptly at 3pm. The ceremony will last for around 45 minutes. Pick up
will take place after the closing ceremony at 3pm on the last day of the residential (Friday 9th
August and/or Friday 16th August). Parents are welcome to come to the closing ceremony, which
will last around 45 minutes, where awards will be given and it’ll start promptly at 2pm.

FACILITIES
We have access to all facilities at
Embley School, including the swimming
pool which can be used as a supervised
evening leisure activity. We’ll have
access to grass pitches, an astro pitch
and indoor football. When you book this
course, we’ll ask for parental/guardian
consent to be given for participation in
the swimming.  

FOOD & DRINK

Three meals will be provided per day by
the course specific catering team and
there’ll be unlimited access to water and
drinks. The food menu will be created
with all players in mind – please flag any
dietary requirements when booking.

SAFEGUARDING
& WELFARE
Comprehensive checks, assessments
and policies have all been put in
place to make sure of the welfare and
safeguarding of each player. There’ll be
24/7 player welfare support throughout
the residential trip, along with fully
qualified and experienced football
coaches.
