Introduction
The aim of the subsequent “Professional Development Portfolio” is to use multiple
documents to illustrate how people have grown their skills and knowledge. A professional
portfolio is a collection of objectives, advancements, successes, and skills that have been
obtained over time and when working with others. Instead of focusing only on the greatest
levels of success, a portfolio shows plans and growth throughout time. It will provide the
results of 16 personality traits that will demonstrate my regions of efficiency and
opportunities for employment depending on those regions of effectiveness (Chu et al., 2021).
It will carry out a “Professional Development Plan” that will assist with developing my own
abilities and expertise as well as line with my goals which are professional.
Employability Asset
Employability asset encompasses leadership skills and customer service skills. The skills that
I acquire are communication skills, coaching skills, problem solving skills, creativity,
emotional intelligence and delegation (Rao, 2019). Relationships that include honest
communication and open are usually more powerful as well as it directs to opportunities for
members. Greater interaction enhances great bond and is useful for strengthening
cooperation. A simple and direct verbal method also enhances performance and streamlines a
shared opinion by decreasing confusion and miscommunication (Touloumakos, 2023).
Arguments often stem from miscommunication or people feeling inadequately heard. It is
easy to avoid disagreements and confusion to express their opinion and clarify their
viewpoint. Excellent communication improves dispute resolution and boosts organisational
culture. This assures business profitability and convinces seeking workplaces with great
levels of worker satisfaction as well as engagement with work.
Some advantages of acquiring coaching skills are achieving career achievement necessitate
establishing realistic goals (Abdurasulova et al., 2023). An individual may set SMART with
the aid of a coach, who can also help you write out a plan for achieving these objectives.
When generating objectives, a coach will help you in striking the ideal balance between
ambition and realism. They can also assist to develop strategies for maintaining attention on
short-term objectives and long-term plans. An individual may find out about elements of
his/her life and work that he/she might have overlooked with the aid of a career coach
(Rusmiyanto et al., 2023). An effective strategy for finding out more about yourself and your
goals is to get outside input. A coach could pose perceptive queries to encourage reflection on
ideas that might not have been previously considered. Depending on people they could also
point towards the proper path when deciding what to do next. Problem solving involves

inventiveness, the birth of new concepts, and the enhancement of immediate surroundings
(Bardach and Patashnik, 2023Taking these steps can assist companies with creating items,
offerings, and other offers which differentiate them from rivals and meet the requirements of
consumers in novel ways. Approaches for creative thinking push people to think freely or to
approach problems in novel ways (Kinicki and Fugate, 2021). They may discover unforeseen
chances and respond when they use their creative abilities and think about numerous tactics
or procedures. The mere fact that they did not attempt anything before does not disqualify
them from doing it.
Understanding others' emotions improves interpersonal interaction and dispute resolution
through Emotional Intelligence (EI) (Jordan and Troth, 2021). It encourages understanding,
enhancing interpersonal dynamics and interactions at work. People with high EI have deeper
team relationships, which makes them better leaders. Enhanced awareness of oneself,
stronger self-control, and better mental health are all benefits that are personal. (Kanesan and
Fauzan, 2019). These include having great customers as well as staff relations, tackling issues
systematically, demonstrating restraint and maintaining composure amid a crisis. Delegating
builds a culture of trust by building a real culture of confidence is one of the most crucial
qualities of successful leaders. People want to follow leaders they believe really care about
their team members and want to support their growth as individuals and as professionals
(Fteiha and Awwad, 2020). The easiest approach to do this is by letting employees know that
they are confident in their talents and play vital role in the success of the business as a whole.
Delegating also enhances creativity as well as develops various skills. The capacity to create
a real culture of trust is one of the most important qualities of outstanding leaders. someone,
after all, want to be led by someone they believe truly feels about their team members and
wants to see them succeed. Helping the staff understand that the management believes in
their skills and that they are a valuable asset to the company's overall success is the greatest
method to develop that trust (MacCann et al., 2020).
SWOT Analysis
I use the SWOT analysis, a method for strategy development, to evaluate my internal
possibilities, weaknesses, strengths, and threats in order to help me make decisions and
develop my plans (Benzaghta et al., 2021). I think it's essential to unbiasedly evaluate my
exceptional characteristics, abilities, and accomplishments while concentrating on my
strengths. This entails recognising the particular skills, expertise, and personal qualities that
distinguish me from others that were highlighted throughout the SWOT analysis (Palomares
et al., 2021). Recognising and utilising these qualities will help me position myself

Page | 4
professionally as well as prove my worth to potential employers or co-workers. Nevertheless,
it's as crucial to recognise and deal with any problems. This involves identifying the areas
that need to be developed or expanded, whether they are connected to particular abilities,
knowledge gaps, or character characteristics that might potentially impede my professional
growth (Yusuf et al., 2022). I may actively look for possibilities for growth and progress by
admitting those areas of weakness, whether by means of self-improvement initiatives,
additional training, or involvement in mentorship programmes.

Based on the data that I have presented on Table 1, I have strengths on creativity,
experiences, team management, problem solving skills, communication skills, coaching skills
and many more. I have the ability to create innovative as well as unique dishes with great
ingredients. I have years of various experiences and a great passion for work. At the same
time, I also have few drawbacks like health challenges, taste consistency, time management. I
lack time management due to lack of priorities and clear goals. Also, tasting dishes from all
over the world can be challenging. The opportunities that I possess are Culinary Trends, I am
update about food trends and I am also able to create in-demand dishes. I also participate in
Television shows and write cookbooks. The threats that might come along the way are firstly,

Competition, the culinary industry is very competitive and it makes it difficult to stand out.
Second, Economic Turndowns also impacts the restaurants and dining out. Lastly, Burnout
due to excess overwork and challenges can be faced.
“Personal Development Plan”
Planning for personal development, in my understanding, is the process of developing an
action plan for the present and the future that is based on consciousness, standards,
contemplation, goal-setting, as well as investing in one's own personal growth (Bintani,
2020). I understand the need to establish a personal development plan (PDP) to guarantee a
methodical and organised approach to my personal improvement. My goals, aims, skills,
weaknesses, and tactics for attaining my own personal and professional improvement will be
described in this plan (Soni, 2020).

16 Personality Test
“I'm familiar with "The 16 Personalities," also known as the "Holland Code Test," that is a
renowned assessment instrument used to classify people into various personality types
depending on their preferences as well as behaviours (Su et al., 2021). It is a useful tool for
finding employment and advancing one's career, helping people identify their areas of
expertise. There are six basic personality types, which led to the creation of the RIASEC
personality test, in accordance with psychologist John L. Holland's hypothesis. Realistic,
investigations, artistic, social, entrepreneurial, and conventional are some of these types. Each
of such groups has a range of professional contexts as well as goals that correspond to
particular interests (Zainudin et al., 2020).
A realistic mentality likes doing actual, physical labor. The investigative personality is
curious, analytical, and enthusiastic about doing research and finding solutions. A musical or
artistic personality enjoys using these mediums for self-expression. The sociable personality
is empathetic and enjoys communicating and helping others. The Enterprising personality
admires business and managerial chances (Ahmed et al., 2019). The Conventional personality
is organized and appreciates tasks that are planned out. Thus, a person can utilize the
“Holland Code Test” to identify their professional interests and then connect those interests
with possible career routes and employment prospects. It is frequently used in vocational
assistance and career counseling.

According to Sheldon et al. (2020), a "Turbulent Protagonist" is a primary figure who
frequently appears in literature or film and who has a high level of psychological instability,
uncertainty, or inner turmoil. They frequently experience major character development as a
result of the conflict inside of them, which also acts as the main plot device. I can identify
numerous crucial traits in a tumultuous protagonist. The first category is emotional strength,
where I exhibit strong and unpredictable emotions that may have an impact on my decisions

as well as behaviour throughout the tale. Second, conflict is a distinguishing characteristic
because individuals with conflict have greater complexity in their personalities as well as are
frequently more relevant to the viewer. Thirdly, my behaviour can be unpredictable, which
keeps those watching interested and curious about what will happen next. Fourth, because of
my struggles with emotions, maintaining relationships might be difficult for me. Last but not
least, the turmoil I experience can lead to major character growth and transformation during
the course of the novel. In the above Figure of Explanation of 16 Personality Test, states that
the Mind is extraverted up to 59%. This trait determines how an individual interacts with the
environment (Ahmed et al., 2019). The Energy is Intuitive up to 65%, Intuitive individuals
are very open-minded, imaginative and curious. Next, the Nature is Feeling up to 79% which
means they are emotionally expressive and sensitive. Tactics is expressed as Judging up to
85%, this means that Judging individuals are highly organised and decisive. These
individuals value closure and predictability. Lastly, Identify is Turbulent up to 71%, they are
sensitive to stress and self-conscious.
Conclusion
The utilization of a variety of papers proposes that a Professional Development Portfolio be
used to demonstrate how people may enhance their knowledge and talents. The emphasis has
been placed on the areas of competence and potential future employment utilizing the
knowledge gained from the 16 Personalities traits. A comprehensive career development plan
is also included in the portfolio, with the purpose of improving skills and competencies in
line with professional objectives. This all-encompassing approach encourages lifelong
learning and provides people with the assurance and critical thinking skills they need to
accomplish their professional goals.
