Competent in the chosen field of endeavors.

Had you ever experienced the feeling of being prepared already for taking NC2 but
you're a little bit nervous if you can achieve this kind of certificate. Now I will share my
experience for this kind of examination, what I'm struggling with and how to make a
solution.

Way back 2018 when I was studying at STAND - ALONE SENIOR HIGHSCHOOL
the highest attainment that I received is TVL for Home Economics (strand) with NC2
holder in "Bread and Pastry" and "Food and Beverages". But before I got these
certificates it took a long run to achieve this. My first day of school was okay and all of
our teachers taught us to learn in different subjects. Our teacher in BPP is Ma'am Ruzel.
When we first met I saw her character for being a strict and rude teacher. She sets the
date of our first baking lesson and she reminds us that "No BEANIE, no ENTRY" and
"INADEQUATE RECIPE, no BAKING" were scary because she's shouting at us. The month
of October 13 is our baking session to her at first she was nice and after a 1 hour I'm
shock and nervous because she is shouting loudly to me because I forget to throw
properly the eggshells and that moment I can't even move my body. I'm tired and
disappointed in myself and I don't want to speak to my other classmates and when I
already get home I'm thinking of what happened that time. My overthinking stopped
because I know it's my fault and all she wants me to do is to be more neat all the time,
especially when it comes to food. It reminds me that it will not happen anymore, I will do
my best to let her know that I'm serious and willing to learn from her. Day by day I have
learned more from her and am getting better at baking. On January 13 2019 the day of
our examinations we were at Lucena to take NC2 together with our Teacher Ruzel. When
we were there our proctor chose our groupmates into four only and he let us go inside
of the room where we will be taking our examination then he let us choose and prepare
it what kind of ingredients we will be using. During our baking session our proctor is
monitoring us by group and when we have already finished he calls us one by one then
asks some questions. When he calls my name and asks some questions he gives a
paper for passing NC2.
Now, I can totally say that despite all the hard work that I have been
encountering, I'm thankful to our Teacher Ruzel who disciplines me and teaches me how
to be more competent in this field.
