DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CLASSROOM OFFICERS
GRADE 10-MABINI
SY. 2023 - 2024

1. President (1)
 Ultimately responsible for all class activities;
 Creates agenda and presides over meetings;
 Delegates duties and acts as the representative for the class;
 Be available to listen to the concerns and accolades of classmates and
address the class with issues that affect the entire class. Making sure class
officers are effectively and efficiently fulfilling their roles;
 Leads the class in all activities, inside and outside the classroom;
 Facilitates the class in the absence of the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

2. Vice President (1)

 Fulfills the duties and responsibilities of the President when he or she is
unable to do so;
 Performs duties assigned by the President;
 Assist the Class President in any way possible with class duties, mainly
listening to classmate’s suggestions and funneling the information to the
Class President;
 Encourage and work to increase participation among Class members;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

3. Secretary (1)
 Takes meeting minutes;
 Maintains correspondence & attendance records;
 Responsible for all sign-up sheets;
 Keeps track of all documents and paperwork and passes them along to the
Class Adviser / Subject Teachers.
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may
assign.

4. Treasurer (1)
 Establishes budget;
 Records all financial transactions;
 Gives status reports at class meetings;
 Authorizes expenditures;
 Inventories fundraising items;
 Collects/deposits fundraising money earned;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

5. Auditor (1)
 Audits the class fund/collection if there is any;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

6. Business Manager (1)

 Coordinates with concerned authorities any business transaction of the class,
internal and/or external;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

7. Public Information Officers (2)

 Disseminate information regarding the submission of requirements,
announcements, and updates;
 Inform the class about school activities;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

8. Sergeant-at-Arms (2)
 Maintains order and proper decorum at meetings;
 Maintains silence in the class;
 Performs other duties that the Class Adviser / Subject Teachers may assign.

9. Muse (1)
 Maintains the good image of the class by serving as a role model in terms of
punctuality, character, and academic performance.
 Represent the class whenever there is an occasion in need of a female
representative.

10.Escort (1)
 Maintains the good image of the class by serving as a role model in terms of
punctuality, character, and academic performance.
 Represent the class whenever there is an occasion in need of a male
representative.
