MATERIALS:

Crochet Hook 6 mm
Worsted weight yarn:
Pink
Mint Green
Yarn Needle
Scissors
It measures 25 cm long and 17 cm wide
Using similar yarn

ABBREVIATIONS:

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = increase (2 hdc in one
st)
dec = decrease (hdc 2
together)
BLO = back loop only
st (s) = stitches
sl st = slip stitch
rep = repeat
* * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round

PURSE

Mint Green

Make 42 chains

Form a circle by making a sl st in the first ch stitch made, be careful not to

twist the row of ch stitches.

R1.- sc in each ch.(42)

R2.- ch 1, sc in each st. (42)

R3.- ch 1 and make 1 sc in the

same stitch, *Skip the next 2
stitches. Work a group of five
double crochets (shell stitch) into
the next stitch, skip 2 stitches,
make 1 sc in the next stitch * rep

R4.- ch 3 and make 2 dc in the

same stitch forming another half
shell. Skip the next 2 stitches, make 1 sc in the next stitch *Skip the next 2

stitches. Work a group of five double crochets (another shell) into the next
stitch, skip 2 stitches, make 1 sc
in the next stitch * rep

When you reach the end of the row,

work 2 dc into the chain that
forms below the 3 chains, forming
another half shell. sl st in the 3rd
chain.

V5- 14.- Repeat rows 3 and 4

Note: Chain 2 does not count as a

stitch.

V15.- ch 2 *4 hdc , dec* rep 7

times. sl st in the firs hdc (35)

V16.- ch 2 *3 hdc, dec * rep 7

times. sl st in the first hdc (28)

V17.- ch 2 *2 hdc , dec * rep 7

times. sl st in the first hdc ( 21)

V18.-ch 1, fold the purse and make

11 sc both sides together to close.

Fasten off.

FINS MAKE 2

Leave a long tail in the first fin and

make 17 ch

R1.- Start in the 3rd chain from the

hook and make 15 hdc , ch 2 and
turn.

R2.- Make 12 hdc BLO, ch 1 and
turn

R3.- sl st, sl st, ch 2, make 10 hdc

BLO, ch 2 and turn

R4.- Make 7 hdc BLO, ch 1 and turn

R5.- sl st, sl st, ch 2, make 5 hdc

BLO, ch 2 and turn

R6.- make 5 hdc BLO, Fasten off

and leave a long tail for sewing.

Sew the fins

With our yarn needle we passed

the long strand of the fins from
one corner to another.

Sew the fins to the purse

STRAP

Make 72 chains

Start in the 3rd chain from the

hook and make hdc

Fasten off and leave a long

tail Sew the strap to the sides of
your purse

FLOWER

Pink yarn

Make 6 chains

1.- make 1 sl st, 1 sl st in the next

chain , 1 hdc in the next chain, 2 dc
same ch, 1 sl st in the first ch.
2.- Make 5 chains, 1 sl st, 1 sl st in
the next chain , 1 hdc in the next
chain, 2 dc same ch, 1 sl st in the
first ch. rep 3 times

Fasten off and leave a long

tail, Sew the flower in the front.
