Abstract:
The issue of investment and its role in achieving economic development is one of the
important issues related to competitiveness in attracting foreign direct investment as a main
source of financing investments in productive and service sectors in light of the scarcity of
local resources and consequently its direct impact in absorbing unemployment, reducing
poverty in society, In the context of the policy of diversifying the production base and
substituting imports, and expanding the volume of exports in order to achieve an economic
surplus in the macroeconomic balances, and thus achieve an increase in the rate of
economic growth..
