Lesson: Classical Music Performance.
Objective/s:
1. Performs selected music from the Classical period.

2. Improvises appropriate accompaniment to selected music from
Classical Period.
3. Evaluates music and music performances using guided rubrics.
Concept/s: The Classical period was an era of classical music
between roughly 1730 and 1820. It is mainly
homophonic, using a clear melody line over a subordinate
chordal accompaniment, but counterpoint was by no means
forgotten, especially in liturgical vocal music and, later in the
period, secular instrumental music.

Over the years, several songs are now based on the said melody.
Some of the songs are the “Alphabet Song”, “Twinkle, twinkle Little
Star” and “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep”.

to help your students in playing the song on your improvised
