a. The teacher shows a picture on the types of communication and introduce the meaning of
it.
b. The teacher shows the illustration via PowerPoint presentation

C. The teacher discusses all the important terms found in the illustration.

 Communication is the exchange of information and understanding.
 Verbal communication refers to oral and written communication.
 Non-verbal communication through body movements, gestures, facial expressions, eye
contact, or body contact.

The teacher ask the learners to:

Directions: write an upward formal communication letter.

8. Evaluation: make a diagram of vertical and horizontal communication flow. Use arrows to
indicate directions.
