Significance of the Study

The study provides a method for informing and communicating with all the students in
Demetrio L. Alviola National High School (SHS) in order for them to be aware for the impact of
online games on their academic performance. The following people will benefit from this
research.

Students. They will be aware about the impact of online games to their academic performance. It
also help them to improve their knowledge and know how to be a responsible student.
Teachers. They will have more information about the impact of online games on their students
and will be able to help and guide their students to limit their time spent playing online games.
Parents. They will have a better understanding of how online games affect their children`s
behavior and academic performance. This will assist them in guiding their kids while they play
video games online. They will also be aware of how to set boundaries and permit their kids to
play online games.
