I am writing this letter of recommendation for Nicole Frasciello as she applies for a
teaching position in your school district. It has been a pleasure working with Nicole in the
capacity of cooperating teacher during her student teaching. From the moment Nicole
entered my classroom, she was taking in the culture and environment. She seamlessly
became a member of our community and gained respect and adoration from both the
students and myself.

Nicole’s commitment and dedication to education was evident everyday. She made
sure to familiarize herself with our curriculum and went above and beyond to supplement
our units. Nicole alerted me to any assignments she needed to complete and flawlessly fit
those assignments into the lesson plans. She was always prepared and punctual, even
arriving before I did every morning. Nicole dressed and spoke in a professional manner.

Meeting challenges head-on is at the heart of what Nicole enjoys doing. Her
organization and time-management skills allow her to take on challenging tasks. She
began teaching within a few days of arriving in our classroom. Nicole completed my
lesson plan template with her plans each week.

Nicole built a rapport with the students that came about organically. She posses
many qualities that make a great teacher that cannot be taught. She knows how to
communicate with children, and she makes good judgment calls while handling
classroom management. During Nicole’s student teaching experience I was able to
confidently turn my classroom over to her without hesitation. At times, it was as if I was
team teaching with a colleague, rather than mentoring a student teacher.

It is without reservation that I highly recommend Nicole for a teaching position.
