Session Title: Exploring Sense Organs and Relational Awareness

Describe the parts and functions of the sense organs of the human
body

Explain how sensory awareness contributes to positive and negative


peace concepts.

Recognize the importance of sensory awareness in their interactions


with others.

Group Sharing: After the activity, gather learners


together to share their experiences and discuss how they
used their senses.

Introduction to Sense Organs: Show pictures or diagrams


of the five sense organs (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, skin)
and briefly explain their functions.

Sense Organs Stations: Set up stations around the


classroom for each sense organ.

Eyes: Provide magnifying glasses for learners to examine


small objects.

Ears: Play various sounds for learners to listen to and


identify.

Exploration minutes Nose: Place scented objects in containers for learners to
smell and guess.

Tongue: Offer small samples of different food items for


learners to taste and describe flavors.

Skin: Provide textured objects for learners to feel and


describe.

Exploration Activity: Divide learners into small groups


and rotate them through each station. Encourage them
to explore and discuss the parts and functions of each
sense organ at each station.

Valuing Relational Awareness Discussion: Lead a discussion on

how understanding our senses can contribute to positive


and negative peace concepts.

Positive Peace: Discuss how being aware of others'


sensory experiences can promote empathy, effective
communication, and harmonious relationships.

Negative Peace: Explore potential conflicts or


misunderstandings that may arise when individuals
ignore or disregard others' sensory needs or preferences.

Group Reflection: Have learners gather in a circle and


reflect on the importance of sensory awareness in their
