Title: The Impact of Social Media Use on Mental Health among Adolescents

Abstract:
This paper examines the relationship between social media use and mental health among
adolescents. Drawing on a review of existing literature, the paper explores various aspects of
social media use, including its potential benefits and negative impacts on mental health. The
findings suggest that while social media can provide adolescents with opportunities for social
interaction and self-expression, excessive use can lead to negative outcomes such as anxiety,
depression, and poor self-esteem. The paper concludes with a discussion of implications for
future research and interventions to promote healthy social media use among adolescents.
