I. INTRODUCTION

School is a place where pupils are taught the fundamentals of life as well as how to
survive in life. It instils in us the values and principles that serves as the foundation for a
child’s development. It is a place where we learn to read and write. It is the most crucial place
where pupils learn personal responsibility and develop social skills and civic participation.

Balibago Elementary School safety plan adheres to its strategic plan that address all
the identified learning gaps in pursuing the continues delivery of quality education and
services to its learners. The vision of the school is to promote the protection of pupils from
violence, bullying, naturals disasters, human induced hazards and other emergencies. It
provides a safe and homelike atmosphere to pupils, parents and other stakeholders.

It is a place where pupils learn about the world around them, explore their interest and
passions, discover more things that will be useful in the future careers. Therefore, it is
important that the school has safety procedures that will ensure pupil’s security against any
harm and danger brought by natural disasters and other hazards. The goal of this safety plan
is to ensure that the school will have the policies to be followed in the event of emergencies.
