ANSWERS:

1.
a. If you want to identify the opportunities that will lead to your success and prevent
decisions that will get you into trouble, you should always consider the important
personal values in making decisions or taking actions. Core values are personal
ethics or ideals that guide you when making decisions, building relationships and
solving problems. Identifying the values that are meaningful to you can help you
develop and achieve personal and professional goals. The principal of every
organization or institution needs Individual values which allow and help him/her in
an organization to make good decisions on his/her own by simply applying his/her
values to new challenges that come along. Your core values will remove bottlenecks
and empower individual growth across your organization.

b. The key to daily application of your core values is to establish behavior that keeps
them front of mind. Core values are great filters that help you make good decisions.
For example, When the principal list out his/her daily tasks, the principal uses
his/her values to evaluate whether or not they are the right things for him/her to be
doing. For example, he/she determine each day if each task meets their core value of
Impact. They should want to know that everything they do will achieve maximum
results for minimum effort. Make sure everything you do is consistent with who you
are and you'll find your day running efficiently and effectively. Your personal core
values are the basis for determining your preferred future. Every opportunity and
goal should be looked at through the lens of your core values or you will create
unnecessary self-conflict and struggle on your journey. Take a day or two each
quarter to do strategic planning and really think about how your life objectives and
core values fit together. As long as they are in sync, your mind and soul can work
together to accomplish great things.

2. Since I am newly transferred from my former station to another station, I can’t tell
yet what are the changes made by the principal in my current station, but I will base
my answer base from my experience and what hi have observed in the former school
I taught. In my former station one significant change I observe was the decision of
the principal to departmentalized the teachers and to have them a certain and
specific faculty room for each department or teachers. She groups the teachers
based on their subject taught or major, which is very good and effective but we
cannot please everybody, there are still some teachers who show their opposition
especially those teachers who have already a specific group or companions and some
who already spend their own money to renovate and beautify their rooms. But as
teachers they are, though they object at first they still follow what is the decision
made by the principal.
