· Acting as a project technical engineer with external and internal parties.

Receive the project documents.

Review all drawings and ensure its completeness, accuracy, and compliance with client’s
fabrication and erection needs and make necessary contacts with the client for inquiries (if any).
Review material inventory and prepare the purchase order in coordination with Material Control
and Quality control.
Coordinate with different departments to achieve the general plan.
Consulting with fabrication and if required liaising with architects and erection engineer.
Distribute and follow up the work plan within the department.
Respond to queries received from the client or the relevant departments and take necessary
corrective action when needed.
Control the Documents Revisions.
Draft brief RFI’s.
Manages the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams as well as the management and
execution of site/software development projects against delivery commitments and project
plans.
Leads the engineering team in the delivery of platform functionality, helps the team in achieving
and surpassing departmental goals.
Provide and gather all the required technical documents such as drawings, manuals and
instructions for construction team.
Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented
Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and
schedule to all the team members
Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that
may arise during construction to the Project Manager for discussion and proper solve.
Prepare and follow-up the documentation for claims and variation order and follow-up the
documentation for claims and variation in order
Ensure that all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the
consultant.
Support Quality team to ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan.
Prepare time schedule for executed work versus planned.
Preparing monthly report presenting the current situation of executed work.
Define and implement corrective actions where deficiencies are detected.
Ensure safe work environments by supporting Safety team in their requirements
Conduct quantity surveying for all executed work.
