Be one of us in YES-O Club Organization of Kalugmanan

Elementary School, Youth for Environment in School Organization the organization
that can be trusted by the pupils which encourage to participate the yearly activities
such as environmental quiz bee, poster making contest, experiment, games, jingle,
sayawit, recycled output, pageant, clean-up-drive, tree planting, and tree growing.

In this organization we engage young generation to join as one team

and to established to serve as a significant venue for pupils’ actions and
movements towards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment
through tree planting in our Tree Park at Turukon Site at the same time we do tree
growing and participate the Clean-up-drive activity inside the school premises and
in our community twice a month.

Joining YES-O Club of Kalugmanan Elementary School provides

opportunity to get involve in passion for making a difference by doing environment
protection which involves the practice of 5R’S like recycle, reuse, reduce, repair
and recover the materials to lessen the garbage around that can contribute
pollution and unhealthy environment that causes different diseases. It also includes
conservation of natural resources like cleaning the creek at Turukon Site to protect
the living species in the water and doing tree planting, tree growing activity to keep
our school site fresh and cool. And clean-up-drive activities which the school
imposes zero waste environment to maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings
and to protect the environment away from the pollution that may give
uncomfortable living.

There are some other practices conducted in our school to show how
we take good care our mother earth by joining pageant showing the creativeness
and style of dresses or outfit that made from trashes to show to others that we can
utilize trashes in many ways. In Doing this activity the office of MENRO-CENRO of
Manolo Fortich visited our school to evaluate our tree park if they can make plan
how to support us by providing us different varieties of seedlings to be planted in
our tree park. After the municipal support it became a big partnership between
KES and MENRO-CENRO Propject called TAYO ANG
KALIKASAN PROJECT with the agreement to have a Memorandum of
Understanding as our basis of partnership. Which was approved and signed last
September 20, 2022 by our own honorable Mayor Rogelio Quiño, the highest
authority of MENRO-CENRO Office, our previous principal Mr. Romeo C. Sarento
and Rowena V. Bazarte the YES-O Club Coordinator.

The YES-O club of KES became popular in our district III because of its
high implementation of clean and green environment, 5R’S practices, tree planting,
tree growing and clean-up- drive activity which our pupils are the highlight of the
said activity and special participation of the SPG Organization, BSP AND GSP
members, Junior Rescuer and YES-O Club Organization still to continue its
mission and vision to serve and protect the environment to be more responsible to
sustain the plans, projects and programs stated in the PPA’S. which prepared by
the YES-O Coordinator as our calendar of activity each year.

The YES-O Officers, YES-O Coordinator, Teaching Staff and all the
pupils of Kalugmanan Elementary School are so proud that our school has always
reign a place and awards during the Science Fair competition held in the district
and division level. Our Salute to all of us especially to our stakeholders and to our
almighty father for bringing the name of Kalugmanan Elementary School as one of
the best school implementer in the district and division competition. In this regards
