A NARRATIVE REPORT ON WASH IN SCHOOL PROGRAM

Wins or the Wash in School Program is indeed very

important nowadays because of the COVID-19 Pandemic of
which viruses spread quickly in our locality. This program will help
lessen the spreading of viruses through following some health
protocols like wearing of face mask and face shield, stepping on
the foot bath to kill bacteria on your shoes, slippers, etc., checking
of temperature and jotting down of your names in the logbook for
contact tracing, wash hands with liquid soap and water then
sanitize it with an alcohol, and maintain social distancing.

These health protocols will be applied everyday specially

when distributing and retrieving modules, pahina, meetings, and
when there are visitors coming in our school, and everyday when
teachers arrived in school. We also do the disinfection of our
classroom before and after the parents or visitors had come. We
also upgrade our handwashing facilities in which we put jars with
water for handwashing, liquid soap and alcohol at the entrance
and exit of the school, as well as to our classroom outside, and
inside. We also prepare a group handwashing at the back of our
classroom for safety purposes. Some of our co-teachers made an
improvised pedal-powered handwashing facilities and some
purchased it. We also purchased the safe drinking water and the
personal hygiene kit of our pupils from our own pocket in
preparation of the face-to-face class if ever we have. In order for
the parents and visitors to follow all of these, we post some
signages on the walls and floors. We also clean our
surroundings, comfort rooms and classrooms to complete the
Wins Program Package.

It was indeed a very tiring and stressful preparation, but

after hearing the comments of the evaluators- we feel relieved
and happy. To all the teaching staff of Kalugmanan Elementary
School, my deepest thanks to your active participation and
support. Congratulations to each and everyone of us..........!!!!!!!!!
