6. AP Setting
6.1. Select the MAC address under [Name] in [1 Access Point] area at the center-top of the main menu.

6.2. Select [Specify Statically], input [IP Address:], [Netmask:] and [Default Gateway:] and press [OK].
Default gateway is mandatory. When the facility does not define default gateway, please set a IP
address which is not used. Default value is 192.168.20.1.

6.4. Select the MAC address again under [Name] in [1 Access Point] area at the center-top of the main
menu. Then click [edit].
6.5. Check [Administrator assigned] in [Radio] tab, set the channel to [Channel:] and set [127] to the
transmit power.

[127] in [Transmit power:] means the maximum transmit power.

- It is not allowed to operate in DFS band.
- It is not allowed to select channels with [+], [++] for example [36+] because it means 40MHz or
80MHz band width.

6.12. Click [Maintenance] in the top-right of the main screen and Select [Convert] tab in the
“Maintenance” dialog box. In the tab, select [Standalone AP] to [Convert one or more Access Point
to: ] and select the MAC address to [Access Point to convert: ]. Then click [Convert Now].

6.14. Then “Please wait…” will appear in the popup window. Left-click the network icon in the
notification area of Windows taskbar and select the SSID which is set at 6.6 and press [Connect]
button.

- The SSID is appeared in the list of available wireless networks more than 2 or 3 minutes after the
“Convert Now” button is pressed.
- Sometimes “Please wait…” does not close even though the SSID appears. In this case, you may
proceed 6.15.
6.15. Left-click the network icon in the notification area of Windows taskbar. AP setting is finished if
the SSID which is set at the 6.6 is appeared.
[Important]
In case of replace from other AP to IAP-205, please reboot CS-7 and AeroDR panels of the AeroDR
system where installed the IAP-205.

7.2. Using pin or paperclip press and hold the reset button in back of the AP.

after 5 seconds.
7.4. Rebooting will be finished after 3 minutes. All configurations are set to factory defaults.

8. Log Collection
8.1. Click [Support] from [More▼] in the right-top of the main screen, select [AP Tech Support] in
[Command: ] and then press [Run].
8.2. Press [save], then the log will be displayed as the new tab in the internet explorer. Select the tool
icon at the right-top of the window and select [File]-[Save as…].

9. Filter Setting
This procedure is optional. The following operation allows to configure MAC address filtering of
wireless packets.
[Note]
In case AeroDR system is connecting in hospital network and other equipment are connecting,
sometimes a lot of packets are sent and it causes wireless communication trouble between CS-7 and
AeroDR detector. To avoid such trouble MAC address filtering can improve more stable wireless
network communication. This is not applicable for wired packets.

9.1. Click the SSID in [1 Network] area at the left-top of the main screen and click [Show advanced
options]. Then click [Security] tab. Select [Enabled] to [MAC authentication: ] and click [Users] at

9.2. Enter the Mac address of the panel for the [Username:], [Password:] and [Retype:] (without colon
e.g. 8CC1214F915E). Select [Employee] to [Type] and Click [Add]. This procedure is repeated as
many times as necessary. Click [OK] when all equipment is input.

Please set [Password:] and [Retype:] to the MAC address same as [Username:].

AP-200-MNT-W2 Mounting Kit Installation Guide
Introduction
The AP-200-MNT-W2 mounting kit provides a secure solution for mounting your AP to flat surfaces such as
a wall or ceiling, and is also compatible with single and dual gang wall boxes. The mounting bracket can be
rotated within the mount housing to accommodate both the 103 and 204/205 AP models.
3. (Optional) Remove the RJ45 cable adapters from their bag, match the female connectors to the tracks at
the upper corners of the housing and slide until the cables lock into place. Refer to Figure 2.

If Ethernet cable(s) are routed directly from source, the RJ45 cable adapters will not be used.
2. Align the screw holes on the back of the mount housing with the corresponding holes on the wall box
and screw into place. Depending on the specific type of wall box, the pan head screws provided may be
used to install the mount housing.
If Ethernet cable(s) are routed directly from a wall box skip Step 6.
1. Route the Ethernet cable through the bottom-right opening of the mount housing and guide through the
upper-right opening at the back of the housing as shown in Figure 4.
If AP is supported by a DC power source, route power cable through the bottom-right opening of the housing.

2. Insert the mounting bracket into the mount housing using the following steps:
a. Align the mounting bracket so that the button is oriented downward and route the Ethernet cable
through the upper-right opening on the bracket. Refer to Figure 5.

b. (Optional) If you are using the cable adapters, route one cable end through the upper-right opening in
the bracket, then place the unused cable in the space between the housing and mounting bracket.
c. Press the mounting bracket into the housing and secure it to the mount housing using the pan head
screws provided.
3. Attach the AP mounting bracket using the following steps:
a. Plug the Ethernet cable (and power cord if applicable) into their corresponding ports on the back of
the AP.
b. Align the AP so that the mounting pins on the back panel match the position of the slots on the
mounting bracket as shown in Figure 6.
c. Press the button at the bottom of the mount kit and slide the AP onto the mounting bracket, then
release the button to fasten the AP into place.

d. (Optional) If you are using the RJ45 cable adapters, plug in the Ethernet cable into the active port on
the side of the mount.
4. Insert the T6 Torx Security Screw into the hole at the bottom of the mount, next to the release button
and tighten. Refer to Figure 7.
If Ethernet cable(s) are routed directly from a wall box skip the following step.
1. Route the Ethernet cables through the bottom openings of the housing and guide through the upper
openings on the back of the housing. Refer to Figure 8.

a. Plug the Ethernet cables (and power cord if applicable) into their corresponding ports on the back of
the AP.

through the corresponding openings on the bracket as shown in Figure 9.
c. Press the mounting bracket into the housing and secure the bracket to the mount housing using the
pan head screws provided.
d. (Optional) If you are using the cable adapters, route cable ends through the upper openings of the
bracket.
3. Attach the AP to the mounting bracket using the following steps:
a. Plug the Ethernet cables (and power cord if applicable) into their corresponding ports on the back of
the AP.

b. Align the AP so that the mounting pins on the back panel match the position of the slots on the
mounting bracket.
c. Press the button on the right side of the mount and slide the AP onto the mounting bracket, then
release the button to fasten the AP into place, as shown in Figure 10.
d. (Optional) If you are using the cable adapters, plug in the Ethernet cable into the active ports on the
side of the mount.
4. Insert the T6 Torx Security Screw into the screw hole at the side of the mount, next to the release button
and tighten. Refer to Figure 7.

The AP-220-MNT-W1 allows you to mount your 220 series access point to a wall.
1. Begin by attaching the wall mount adapter to the wall as shown in Figure 1 or Figure 2.
a. Install any necessary wall anchors. Wall anchors are not included in this kit.
b. Align the screw holes in the mounting bracket with the previously installed anchors or demarcated
screw points.
c. Insert the screws to secure the mounting bracket. Screws are not included in this kit.
