I. RATIONALE

Many students are often seen

that are unhealthy and mal-
nourished.
Some of the problems of the
student are not eating healthy
foods, eating more of junk foods
and fried foods. Growing
vegetables is a pleasurable
exercise that can result in
delicious, fresh produce.
Exercise, fresh air, landscape
improvement, and enjoyment
are just a few of the advantages
it provides.

As a student, I want to promote

planting vegetables and fruits in
the garden of the school.
Additionally, it encourages all
the students, teachers, school
staffs, and school personnels to
have a healthy lifestyle by
planting any kinds of vegetables
and fruits.

practicing to plant vegetables
and fruits to supply wholesome,
safe, nutritious and acceptable
food to the beneficiaries of this
project.

S- Identifying specific fruits

and vegetables to be planted.

such as the expected yield of
each fruit and vegetable.
A- Considering the necessary
skills and knowledge for
successful gardening.
R- Focuses on achieving a
healthy growths of the plants.
T- Considering the local climate
and seasonality to determine
optimal planting and harvesting
periods.

III. BENEFITS

By this project, implementing to

plant vegetables and fruits
inside the school will help the
students, teachers, school
staffs, and school personnels to
have have a free access to our
garden to provide them a source
of healthy veggies and fruits. It
also encourages healthier eating
habits and reduces junk food
consumption. Teaches students
about plant life cycles and the
importance of environmental
conservation. Promotes
teamwork, responsibility, and
problem-solving skills and
fosters a sense of pride and
ownership within the school.
IV. METHODOLOGY AND
SCHEDULE

The school needs a garden that

has growth in veggies and fruits
that can benefit each student,
teachers, school staffs and
personnels. These are some of
the key in implementing this
project:

School Administration: The

school administration is responsible for
establishing and maintaining gardens
on school premises. Allocating
appropriate space and resources for
gardening activities. Ensuring the
implementation of proper gardening
techniques and practices.

Teachers: The teachers are

responsible for planning and delivering
lessons on various gardening
techniques. Providing hands-on
training and demonstrations. Assessing
and evaluating students' progress in
gardening.

Students: The students are

responsible for regularly attending
gardening sessions and participating
actively. Taking care of assigned plants
and ensuring they receive proper
watering, fertilization, and pruning.
Collaborating with fellow students and
following instructions from the
gardening supervisor.

Parents: The parents are

responsible for volunteering in school
garden activities and maintenance.
Donating gardening tools, supplies, and
plants. Assisting in organizing
gardening events and fundraisers.

Community Volunteers: The

community volunteers are responsible to
assist in planning and designing the
garden. Help with planting and
maintaining the garden. Educate students
about gardening techniques and
environmental sustainability.

By involving these individuals and

groups, a school garden will be
implemented, made and worked that
meets the expected outcome of the
students.

Teachers in gardening play a crucial role

in incorporating activities into the
curriculum, providing guidance, and
educating students about sustainable
practices. Students actively participate in
gardening, learning teamwork,
responsibility, and environmental
awareness. Parents support children's
involvement, assist with tasks, and
