EXAM INSTRUCTIONS:

TASK B: ANSWERING QUESTIONS [4 x 10 = 40 marks]

Time limit: You will have 5 minutes to get set, 60 minutes to complete the task, and 5
minutes to upload the document. The total time limit will be 1 (one) hour and 10 (ten)
minutes.

Upload the answers in a Word document to the AVE in the Moodle platform. The name of
the document should be: TASK-B-SURNAME-NAME.
After you have uploaded it, check that the submission status of the TASK is ‘Submitted
for grading’ (or ‘Enviado para que sea calificado’ in Spanish).

Exam assignment:
Provide answers to the questions that follow. The answers should not be longer than 15
lines (200 words maximum):

1. Explain the concept of double-coding in Postmodern architecture and illustrate

with relevant examples.

2. To what extent was the Patriot Act able to protect Americans?

3. To what extent have John Dewey’s ideas changed the educational approach in the
USA?
4. What were the most important landmark events during The Troubles in Ireland and
what was their significance?
