At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

2. value and appreciate the works of Lutgardo Labad to the Philippine culture and the arts; and
3. highlight Lutgardo Labad’s journey and contributions to the culture and the arts using a timeline
in a Powerpoint Presentation.

Ask these questions to the students:

 What qualities or values you have acquired from his story and how would you
apply them in your life as a student and as a Filipino?
 Do you think that Lutgardo Labad has what it takes to become recognized as a
National Artist of the Philippines? Why do you say so?

IV. EVALUATION
A. Fixing Skills
 In a short bond paper, write a reaction paper on the life and works of Lutgardo Labad
to the Philippine culture and the arts.

B. Performance Task (By Pair)

 Highlight Lutgardo Labad’s journey and contributions to the culture and the arts.
Then, create a timeline about it using a Powerpoint presentation and show your
presentation to the class.
Criteria:
Creativity – 20
Content and Organization – 20
Overall Presentation – 10
TOTAL – 50 points

V. ASSIGNMENT
 In a short bond paper, research more and list down the details/information about Lutgardo
Labad’s works in different categories:

b. Film
c. Theatre
There should be a reference citation in the last part of your paper using APA format.
