PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a teenager, I accompanied my mother to her small local shop and spent time with her as she
worked. My love for the business grew, and I was more than willing to spend my time at the
shop attending the customers. When I was older enough, I could set up the shop and even make
sales where I balanced the books by the end of the day. As a young soul, this inspired me and
gave me a desire to own my own business in the future. Even though the business is not
accessible and continues being complicated day by day, that does not discourage me. That
implies that there is need to secure myself with education to increase my knowledge in
mathematics and statistics. With that in mind, I am applying for a position in the research
program at Queen Mary University.

In addition to helping out my mother run her business, I have had other experiences that enhance
my qualifications for the job. I have undergone training and my skills in finance and statistics are
tested. My resume enumerates the various job places I have attended and the positions held.
When dealing with the PG&E Bankruptcy project, I was able to carry out research, and I come
up with a report on the reasons for bankruptcy, which show high expertise in the field. I have
also worked with up with trees, which were a Green leaf Gala marketing where we worked in a
group of five, made the planning of activities and budget table of the organization. Above all my
emphasis on serving the public puts me in a better position for the job

Working as a banker in China Construction Bank, I was able to acquire more interpersonal skills,
which make me a better banker. I was in charge of the other bankers, and that made me very
responsible and a great team leader. I also worked on the communication part, where I was able
to deal with all sorts of people without getting annoyed. The apparent skills like remittance,
deposit, and withdraws are now perfect due to the experience I got over the years. The position
has allowed me to develop life skills in banking, which are crucial in the service-driven

marketplace. As an intern, I was able to work with computers and made a spreadsheet in working
places. I want to combine my expertise with the theoretical background I will learn from Queen
Mary University.

I have as well made time in extracurricular activities, including playing for the various working
places and have several medals on volleyball. My positive experience has encouraged me to join
Queen Mary University to continue my academic endeavors. The curriculum of school fits me
well, and the satellite campuses they have across the world. The employment environment of
Queen Mary university adds me the desire to be part of the project so that I can further my
dreams.
