Description of product
A typical chinese dumpling is the pork siomai. Numerous kiosks, cafés, and restaurants
serving them attest to the popularity of this common dumpling among filipinos. Nowadays,
siomai, which were once only steamed, are also served fried and accompanied by soy sauce and
calamansi.
This is the Malumai rice toppings, derived from the words malunggay and siomai. A
normal siomai is very common nowadays, so we made it a little healthy and unique. When you
eat a siomai filled with incredibly healthy malunggay with fried rice, one dish is not enough for
you. Packed with homemade malunggay siomai, garlic fried rice with onion leaves, dipped in
soy sauce with calamansi and chili oil, you will be tempted to consume more as a result of its
excellent flavor.

Our target market is students, workers and local residences near the area. It is a crowded
and busy place every single day, many people especially students are roaming around the place,
jeepney and tricycle stations with tired, exhausted people waiting for their ride. it’s a sure thing
that products will be sold there. Especially in the afternoon may it be around 4pm or 5pm

Proposed location and reason for the choice or this location

The location where our product will be sold is in Marciano Brion St San Pablo City
Plaza, Laguna 4000. We selected this place since it is in a plaza with many people, students, and
drivers on tricycles and jeepneys. People can eat there while they wait for their transportation
because it is situated close to the tricycle and jeepney stations. Additionally, three schools are
nearby, so many students will be able to sample our delicious malumai there.

Long term objectives of the business

Having been in business for a while, our company's long-term goals involve growing our
little food industry. Due to the fact that it is now dismissal time in the afternoon, we can expand
our space from a tiny food stand by adding chairs and tables for customers to sit at while they
wait for their rides. They can relax by sitting and eating our unique malumai there thanks to the
tables and chairs in front of our stall.

Socio-economic impact, positive effects

One advantage of malumai is that it is an inexpensive and delectable product to give
oneself a little energy after a long day. Malumai is a tasty and affordable food that is simply
impossible to resist when dipped in soy sauce with calamansi and topped with chili sauce. It's
difficult to quit once you start eating malumai with garlic fried rice. Its lack of extenders
contributes to its siomai's incredible deliciousness. Its siomai are all oozing with flavor and beef.
This will undoubtedly fill you up, and you'll enjoy eating it.
The proposed business will provide help to the community and our countrymen. we
recognize that the nature of the business, especially the corporate focus on quality affordable
malumai, gives us a unique opportunity to make a very positive contribution to the health of the
communities we serve.
Socio-economic impact, negative effects
The negative effects is that the fried variant of malumai is cooked in oil which means,
eating too much fried malumai is associated with a higher risk of developing heart problems.
Like they said, “too much will kill you”. Any fried foods including our fried malumai are high in
saturated fat and trans fat, so they promote plaque buildup in arteries that can put you at risk for
coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart attack, and stroke.
