Dear Ma’am,
Greetings of peace!
The light of rationalizing the undergraduate teacher education to keep pace with the
demands of global competitiveness, Article V., Section 13 of CHED Memorandum Order no. 30
(Higher Education Act of 1994) states that, “field study courses are intended to provide students
with practical learning experiences in which they observe, verify, and reflect on, in an actual
school setting; and these experiences will begin with field observations and gradually intensify
until students undertake practice teaching.”
In partial fulfillment of Field Study 1 or Profed 11, we are writing this letter requesting
permission to conduct classroom observation and interviews with some of the faculty members
of the school.
We believe that you have the best means that can provide the necessary experience to
link learned theories and principles to the actual teaching-learning situation. We are eager to
extend our assistance in any classroom undertakings correlated of how to become efficient and
effective teacher in the future.
Your approval and consideration regarding this matter will be highly appreciated.
Thank you and God Bless your heart!
Respectfully yours,
