TOPIC:

Applying Mobile App Rewards to a Guest Check – Bob Evans Mobile App
DESCRIPTION:

The following procedure indicates how to apply a reward from the Bob Evans Mobile App to a guest’s
check.

PROCEDURE:

Upon cashing out the guest, select the App Reward Redeem button on the Tender Selection
Screen.

Reward Redemption

There are two methods of reward redemption:

First Method – QR Code Scanning:


Scan the QR Code (or key in the seven-digit code) provided by the guest from the Bob Evans
Mobile App using the barcode scanner and select Redeem.

The system will ask if you would like to apply the reward – select Yes.

You will receive the following message upon successful application. Tap OK and tap the
Return to Aloha button.

The check and balance due on the Tender Screen will now reflect that the reward has been
applied. Tender the check per normal procedure.

Second Method – Phone Number Lookup:

Enter the phone number associated with the guest’s mobile app account and select Mobile
Number Lookup. A list of available rewards will appear.

Select a reward from the list and tap Yes to apply the reward.

Deleting a Reward Redemption

On the tender screen, select the App Reward line on the receipt and tap the Delete button in the
bottom left corner of the screen.

The Rewards Redeemed line will gray out and the void will appear on the check.
