I. Objectives :

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:


a. Identify and discuss the different contributions of the various parts to a whole;
b. Develop appreciation towards the importance of having a creative imagination.
c. Write a reflection essay regarding one’s insight of the topic.

II. Subject Matter:

a. Learning Area: Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century
b. Learning Competency: Discuss the different contributions of the parts to a
whole and the important role of creative imagination in putting together the
various parts of a whole. (HUMSS_MCT12-If-g-6)
c. Topic: Contributions of the Various Parts to a Whole and Create Imagination
d. Skill Focus: Creativity and Imagination, Network Thinking and Critical Thinking
e. Values Integration: Open-mindedness, curiosity, resilience and inclusivity

80)

III. Procedure:
A. Preliminary Activities

• Checking of Attendance
• Setting of Classroom Standards
• Review of past lessons
B. Motivation
The teacher will group them into 3 to answer and make observation of the
picture that teacher given.

C. Activity
Direction: Read and understand the question below.

1. Is the efficiency of the company affected when the various parts of the whole
operation are located in distant places? Support your answer.

2. What have you observed in the puzzle? Is creative imagination necessary in putting
together the various parts of a whole? Why?

D. Analysis
The teacher will introduce the topic which is the Contributions of the Various
Parts to a whole and create imagination and lead a class discussion to evaluate
students' understanding.
E. Abstraction
The teacher will review and summarize all of the discussions:

together

Creative Imagination: involves the formation or creation of mental images. It is


the ability of the mind to transcends its limits, explore the unseen and thread the
path it would normally take.
